As I work on my book for my great-Aunt, I was thinking about the connection with Stephen H. Henderson and George Henderson as well as another 'Martin' Henderson , a name that is thus far not talked about in any family tree or Internet.
which means:
Thomas 'The Pioneer' had a lot of kids, and so did one of his sons 'William Henderson'.
Here is what I got thus far:
Thomas Henderson: 1742-1827
Jeremiah Henderson - 1775 - South Carolina or Virginia?
Thomas Henderson, Jr -d. 1858ish
William Henderson - 1770-1808
George Henderson -1780ish
William Henderson had a Thomas Henderson and a Martin Henderson (as well as other children)
George Henderson married Nancy Larimore. Nancy's dad was Hugh Larimore who eventually moved to MO. They had a son named Stephen H. Henderson. 'H' stands for "Hugh". Where did Stephen come from? That is a mystery that will probably never be found out!
George was popular because of George Washington, that explains why George was not a family name.
And now a new theory about Thomas 'the Pioneer' Henderson and Judge Richard Henderson. I now 90% believe that they were related and more than likely cousins, only because of where Thomas' son William was born.
will be continued....
