Thomas Henderson of Grainger  County, Tennessee was one of the Founders of Tennessee as he is on the Tennessee Constitution .

He is on the 1796 Tennessee constitution . My (Rachel Kent) family has had the land in Grainger from 1796 until the 1920s when her great-great-great grandfather Thomas Henderson sold it.

    Trying to locate a Jesse Cloyd Henderson (1803-1867). Most researchers point to him being born in Tennessee to David Henderson and Elsie Anderson, but I can't find a birth record. He lived in Callaway County, Missouri before moving to Oregon in 1845. Hoping you may have some information on this particular Henderson. Best wishes, Maureen (genealogies@mail.com)
