I know now there is a connection to the Claiborne , TN Henderson's and the Hawkins and Grainger Henderson's...

Thomas 'the Pioneer' Henderson lived in Claiborne, 'gifted' land to his son William in Grainger, which means he had lived in three counties ...but at the same time he didn't. Basically 'Bean Station' was once part of Spencer County.. (think 'State of Franklin' or 'Lost State of Franklin'), then Spencer turned Hawkins.. later Hawkins divided up and turned to Grainger and later Claiborne.

William dies and land goes to Thomas.

but what about 'The Pioneer''s other kids? Surely he had more than one child and now I know he did.

Remember, in previous blog posts, I have become obsessive trying to figure out who 'George Henderson's' daddy is? Now I know it is 'Thomas 'the Pioneer' Henderson's kid. Makes sense.

in the census records below for 1850 , you see a Thomas Henderson who is '80' years old and born in ' Virginia' around 1770. George was born bet. 1780 and 1789, so basically. Thomas 'the Pioneer' had: William, Thomas and George thus far. I am sure he had a whole load more kids!

note: Early 1800s census records are either lost or not online. So all I found online was from 1850 and 1860. If I find more, I will post it.
